This Shipping Policy explains how prescription medications and eligible products are fulfilled and shipped to patients. It is intended to provide clear expectations regarding order processing, shipping, delivery, and patient responsibilities.
2. Prescription Fulfillment
Prescription medications are dispensed only after a licensed healthcare provider determines that treatment is medically appropriate and a licensed pharmacy accepts the prescription for fulfillment. Availability is subject to applicable federal and state laws.
3. Pharmacy Partners
Ignite Medical Group works with appropriately licensed pharmacy partners. Once a prescription is accepted, the dispensing pharmacy is responsible for medication preparation, labeling, dispensing, and shipment in accordance with applicable legal and professional standards.
4. Processing Times
Prescription processing and shipment times vary depending on provider review, pharmacy workload, inventory availability, payment verification, weather conditions, and shipping destination. Estimated delivery dates are not guaranteed.
5. Shipping Methods
Shipping methods are selected by the dispensing pharmacy or shipping carrier. Expedited shipping may be available for certain medications or products at an additional charge.
6. Temperature-Sensitive Medications
Certain medications require temperature-controlled packaging. Patients are responsible for promptly retrieving deliveries and storing medications according to the instructions provided by the dispensing pharmacy.
7. Delivery Address
Patients are responsible for providing an accurate shipping address before an order is processed. Address changes may not be possible once shipment has been initiated.
8. Signature Requirements
Certain medications may require an adult signature upon delivery based on pharmacy policies, carrier requirements, or applicable law.
9. Shipping Delays
Weather events, carrier disruptions, holidays, inventory shortages, or circumstances beyond our control may delay shipment. Ignite Medical Group is not responsible for delays caused by third-party carriers.
10. Lost or Damaged Shipments
Patients should promptly report lost, damaged, delayed, or temperature-compromised shipments. Replacement requests are evaluated in coordination with the dispensing pharmacy and shipping carrier.
11. Returns
Prescription medications and compounded medications generally cannot be returned after dispensing except where required by law or due to verified pharmacy dispensing errors.
12. Patient Responsibilities
Patients are responsible for monitoring shipment tracking information, promptly retrieving packages, storing medications appropriately, and notifying Ignite Medical Group or the dispensing pharmacy of any shipping concerns.
